Slitting & Loading Film for the Minox

WARNING! Dust and dirt are a SERIOUS problem when loading your own film for ANY camera. They are a particular problem for the Minox because of the design of the cassette and film path within the camera. I have always worried about introducing dirt into the camera, and know of no way to clean the camera other than sending it to an authorized service center. I have scratches occasionally, some with factory loaded film, and they usually run the full length of the film. They are IMPOSSIBLE to eliminate in a silver print, but are easily removed in Photoshop. Develop a technique for eliminating dust and dirt when loading film! You ALSO assume the responsibility for incorrect loading, or the cassette coming apart.
BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND AND ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT THE DOWN-SIDE OF LOADING YOUR OWN FILM!

The following is a description of what works for me. It is NOT a recommendation, rather, food for your own creative energy.
